The two ladies are both smiling, significant of the mood of the picture, it is conveying that the emotion they currently feel is happiness.The bouquet of flowers that they are holding are freshly cut and visibly alive, this also helps to portray the good mood of the scene.

In the background there is a small building, but you can mainly see brickwork, however it is out of focus which shows that perhaps the past of the characters in this scene are not important. As you can see from the ladies hair, there is a gently breeze blowing in the direction of which they are looking, creating the effect of movement within the picture.

The picture was taken in the early morning to get this type of lighting, and to capture that morning breeze. The actors in the scene were told to look away to create some kind of mystery. The background is out of focus to also add depth to the picture.
